In line with our belief in continued professional and self-development as a way of boosting workplace productivity as well as personal confidence and effectiveness, the Dewdrops Community Centre for Special Needs organised its first staff development training for the year on 11 January 2018.
The theme of the training was “Personal Effectiveness and Optimized Thinking,” and the topic was: FLYING IN THE FACE OF THE ORDINARY, facilitated by the renowned Life Optimisation and Clarity Coach, Mr. David Babale of DB Innovations.
He conducted the training for all teaching and non-teaching staff of the Dewdrops Community Centre using various contemporary training resource materials and techniques to drive home his life changing points over a period of 6 hours.
In the end, some of the training outcomes included steering of the staff in the direction of higher productivity and building the cohesion necessary for a TRIBE of special educators and caregivers to provide excellent services to learners with special needs and their families.
The training ended with a closing remark by the Program Director, Mrs. Lola Aneke. And now we’re set to fly with renewed excellence in the face of the ordinary!
